# PricePilot

> Shopify app for scheduling price changes with automatic activation, deactivation, and conflict detection.

PricePilot lets Shopify merchants schedule promotions and flash sales. Set a start date, end date, and discount type — prices change automatically and restore themselves when the promotion ends.

## Features

- **Scheduled Promotions**: Set precise start and end dates for price changes. PricePilot activates and deactivates them automatically.
- **3 Discount Types**: Fixed price, percentage off, or amount off.
- **Compare-At Price**: Automatically sets the original price as a strikethrough price so customers see the savings.
- **Conflict Detection**: If a price was manually changed during an active promo, PricePilot flags the conflict instead of overwriting — protecting intentional changes.
- **Collection-Based Schedules**: Apply discounts to entire Shopify collections. Products are fetched dynamically at activation time (Pro plan).
- **Manual Override**: Activate or end a promotion instantly from the schedule detail page.
- **Shop Timezone**: All dates are displayed in the shop's local timezone.
- **Multi-language**: English, French, and Spanish interface.

## How It Works

1. Create a schedule: name your promotion, choose discount type and value, set start/end dates, select products or collections.
2. PricePilot checks every 5 minutes. When the start time arrives, promotional prices are applied instantly.
3. When the promotion ends, original prices are restored automatically with conflict detection.

## Pricing

- **Basic** ($7.99/month): 5 active schedules, individual products, all discount types, compare-at price, conflict detection.
- **Pro** ($14.99/month): Unlimited schedules, collection-based schedules, everything in Basic.
- Both plans include a 7-day free trial.

## Technical Details

- Built with Remix, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Shopify Polaris.
- Uses Shopify Admin GraphQL API (October 2025 version).
- Scopes required: `read_products`, `write_products`.
- Hosted on Render.
